Shannon Carver plants pinwheels in front of the Cortez Welcome Center, on Main Street. The Four Corners Child Advocacy Center planted the pinwheels to bring awareness of national child abuse prevention month. Second- and third-grade students from Montezuma County made the pinwheels.
